Does anyone else remember this vintage Redd Foxx Christmas Eve video?I was very young when this was on...1977 was the year so I was nine.I remember that I had tears in my eyes from watching it. @MMA I grabbed a copy for you pal. Due to FA upload limitations this is a lower quality, but quite watchable. Love Redd Foxx, but never seen this one before. Not a big fan of melancholy stuff though.

@Unknown_Deplorable He is usually hilarious, I know. This skit was especially touching to me because it's exactly how I grew up. We had the same kind of dilapidated house in Wilkinsburg, PA. Just like Foxx, my mom ducked the landlord and she was always praying that she'd be able to make the rent. Seeing this...and how I live now...though I'm not at all wealthy, it's amazing how long I've lived and how far things have come for us since those lean years. Makes me count my blessings!

@MMA I'm not wealthy either, but sure am better off than used to be. Got home today after shopping. Looked at my vehicle (which is nothing special) but runs, and looks good. Thanked God right there for allowing me to have decent transpiration. Which I have not always had..

@Unknown_Deplorable Amen. When it really comes down to it, we really have all we need. I am grateful that I have a roof over my head and food on my table. Every single day. And...knowing the Lord as my Savior, is worth more to me than all the riches in the world. I am blessed.
