       The only time Sunday liquor sales are allowed at Class A licenses (non-restaurants) in Baltimore County:C. The hours during which the privileges conferred by a Class A license may be exercised shall be from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on every day except on Sunday.***However, a holder of any class of retail off-sale alcoholic beverage license may exercise the off-sale license privilege on the Sunday immediately before Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m***The last time this happened for Christmas were 2006 and 2017.I posted a note earlier that referenced Baltimore City laws that are not correct for the County.#BaltimoreCounty #Regulation #LiquorLicense #Liquor #Christmas

       @vees I don’t buy a lot of alcohol. Is liquor not usually for sale on Sundays? I didn’t realize. Alcohol laws are so arbitrary. I still honestly don’t understand how liquor stores got an exemption from the bag law?

       @nikikole Liquor stores already need to be waist deep in the Baltimore County political process just to exist and provide a lot of tax revenue in licensing and sales, so they've already got the ear of everybody they need to talk to to get an extra line or do in legislation to make things slightly for them.

       @vees I do mostly pick up orders, so I still get a ton of bags, but mostly paper now. Although some places will now take your stuff out of the bag & put it in your car (I keep a bin in the back & some reusable bags) — Target will do this.We did have an incident the first week where McDonald’s gave us all our food loose on a mobile order… it was an adventure.
