I need (desperately, the screen is falling off this one) a new phone.Do people have any recommendations for a good, reasonably affordable mobile that runs Android?For reference, the one I have now is a Pixel 3a bought for about £350 in 2019.

@dwarf I've already replaced the old smashed screen on this one, and I'd do it again, but they're so long out of production that replacement screens now run more than £90.

@kline If you were in the US I'd recommend Trac Fone which sells not only minutes for their cell phone service but also new and used Android phones. I got my last one from them, cost about $150 total. https://www.tracfone.com/homeI don't know if they do international sales. Sorry.

@kline From what I've heard from friends, just get some new budget Pixel. Personally I only use Fairphones but they're not cheap for the specs.

I got a pixel 7a in pink (sorry, "coral").On the day it arrived I couldn't pick up the call from the delivery guy, I just had to run to the front gate. Pfew.
