       I’ve been wondering, what is with the “military aged males” descriptor with all the illegals pouring over the border? Are they trying to convince us that a foreign army is stealthily entering our country to overthrow it from within?

       As if we’d just allow anyone other than “military aged males” into our country illegally? ALL illegal immigration should be stopped/prevented, regardless of who it is.

       @obihahn IMHO, two reasons to keep using the  “military aged males” descriptor:1. Yes it's a scare tactic. 2. The narrative is that illegals are poor refugees/asylum seekers, but refugees and fleeing people are always, overwhelmingly women, children, and old men.  Focusing on the prevalence of military age men emphasizes that these are, best case, economic migrants, and, worst case, the most dangerous demographic for crime and terrorism.
