The Museum of Mankind is, of course, a parody exhibition, juxtaposing familiar objects with patriarchal interpretations, highlighting sexism and bias in history, heritage and the museum industry. It will challenge you to explore the neutrality of museums and interrogate how the past is interpreted. You'll probably never look at a museum the same way again!

@amiloradovsky I mean, you could have googled what that is before making this post.The larger point is about how archeological findings and history are often viewed through a very male lens, and matters pertaining to female sexuality and health often get either forgotten about or actively swept under the carpet. Using a feminine hygiene product as the example drives the point home.

@amiloradovsky So - you think it's untrue that a lot of medication was never tested on women? That women regularly have issues e.g. with cars that are not built to accustom the fact that women are on average shorter than men? Just because things have been changing over the last couple of years doesn't mean they "don't exist in reality". The account you've replied to - well, look at how any slightly older biology book depicts the clitoris compared to how it actually looks.
