Biden has been a total failure as president. His policies are a mixture of Bush/Cheney and Trump. Democrats who defend him based on party loyalty need to reexamine their strategy as he is unlikely to beat Trump. Democrats who defend him because they approve of his actions need to reexamine their principles.#politics

@rchusid reality is there is no other choice. It’s Biden or tRump. It’s sucks, the two party system is an absolute failure but there will be no other nominee for Dems. Voting third party is a vote for tRump. Not voting is a vote for tRump. So Biden it is. It’s not that I like him I just know many, including myself, couldn’t survive another tRump presidency. We can’t survive more of his judicial nominees. Democracy itself may not be able to survive. Damage is limited with Biden.

@Melezioh Biden looks like he will not be able to beat Trump so if the priority is to keep Trump out of office it is necessary to somehow get Biden off the ticket.And no, a vote for a tird party is a vote for a Third party, not for Trump. Not voting is not a vote for Trump. Democrats need to stop saying this--it comes across to independents as meaning Democrats do not believe in democracy--a bad message to use when running against Trump

@rchusid reality is there is no one else to put forth. Not yet. Dems really needed to have built someone up over the last four years like Kamala but they didn’t. It’s too late.You’re not in reality if you don’t see that the effect of voting third party is that it’s a vote for tRump. I’m not a dem just liberal. Reality and history show the effect of voting third party is a vote for tRump. It’s truth not a bad message.

@rchusid I get the message may not sound good but that is just reality. It matters to vote for someone that actually has a chance of getting in office no matter where you live. Look at Georgia those non-votes, third party votes if they go to a viable candidate it makes a difference.

@Melezioh Saying a vote for someone else is a vote for Trump means you are assuming that Democrats own their votes. The message is not only false, it is an attack on basic democratic principles. Democrats need to drop this line.
