@rchusid reality is there is no other choice. It’s Biden or tRump. It’s sucks, the two party system is an absolute failure but there will be no other nominee for Dems. Voting third party is a vote for tRump. Not voting is a vote for tRump. So Biden it is. It’s not that I like him I just know many, including myself, couldn’t survive another tRump presidency. We can’t survive more of his judicial nominees. Democracy itself may not be able to survive. Damage is limited with Biden.

@rchusid reality is there is no one else to put forth. Not yet. Dems really needed to have built someone up over the last four years like Kamala but they didn’t. It’s too late.You’re not in reality if you don’t see that the effect of voting third party is that it’s a vote for tRump. I’m not a dem just liberal. Reality and history show the effect of voting third party is a vote for tRump. It’s truth not a bad message.

@rchusid I get the message may not sound good but that is just reality. It matters to vote for someone that actually has a chance of getting in office no matter where you live. Look at Georgia those non-votes, third party votes if they go to a viable candidate it makes a difference.

Planned Parenthood of Arizona paused gender affirming care for EVERYONE due to fuckery with funding from the current administration. No telling if other Planned Parenthood will follow suit. Find it interesting seeing a post making the rounds saying trans mascs are forgotten about and trans fems are targeted. That’s not really accurate. We’re just seen differently than trans fems. “We aren’t men in women’s spaces”. We are seen as women but not and maybe worse. We are confused, we are mutilating our bodies. They don’t want us in women’s spaces either but we’re not men. I’m not the best at explaining it. We are not forgotten just targeted differently.

Are the majority of trans people in this space early in transition? (First few years). Kind of seems any online space is that way but could just be they post more about being trans and transition.It’s not a bad thing but it’s always nice to see people that started transitioning longer ago, being someone that started my transition 11 years ago.So when did you start your transition? Something I see on here from time to time. A trans fem will want to talk about some marginalization or something and how it affects them. They will give a little half nod to trans mascs and say how we are erased or something. Then turn around and add a “but” and then talk about how they experience shit we don't and how it’s worse or similar.You say we’re erased then erase our experience by saying you experience worse. Also, one example of a person being cool with a trans guy but trans phobic towards a trans fem does not a universal truth make.Trans mascs and trans fems don't experience all the same issues and marginalizations but that doesn’t make one worse than the other. It’s not a contest and bringing us up to then erase our experiences is worse than not mentioning us at all.Trans mascs are also erased less than some trans femmes imagine, when it comes to transphobia. We experience plenty from gender criticals, terfs, transphobes. We do experience erasure in our own community and demonization.

@futurebird last I knew, Walmart still did layaway but they may have gotten rid of it. GameStop basically does layaway for pre-orders. You can pre-order the item and pay on it until you pick it up.

Still love peeing standing up. Using men’s restrooms is so much simpler now, too. Two years and five surgeries to get to this point. (Bottom surgery journey actually started 3 years ago with meta but phallo and it’s follow up surgeries are kind of a separate beast).

@Tattie this would help but especially as a trans man, that would not be a solution. Trans men do experience a loneliness problem and part of it is exclusion within the LGBTQ+ community. So men talking isn’t going to solve anything.
