Vaguepost, not intended as mean. I don't really get it what most people are talking about when they insert terms like "humility", "shame", "judgement" into conversations about political views. Are we talking about feelings we feel or beliefs we hold? Because these are two completely different things for me.

@comrade_lecter To me, humility politically means making a public statement (or a statement to those involved in interpersonal matters) about something you've done wrong. Accountability, essentially.

Also, the amount of people I'd absolutely dismember bit by bit if I ✨acted on my feelings ✨, but who I still support because they're objectively fine. And vice versa, those who are actual abusers/abuse apologists, but who I have some kind of an attachment to and want to impress. Views and feelings are different, y'all.

@comrade_lecter How do you define an abuse apologist though?/genqBecause while I may have the feeling of wanting revenge or violence against a person, I hold the view that rehabilitative justice and ethical treatment to prisoners is owed to them. I have had the thought to kill my abusers; I am against the death penalty. So I'm just curious where you said on what makes someone an apologist.
