Today was a good #sundayvibes kinda day. Did a few miles on empty roads. Dry, mild, and just a wee bit windy. #BikeTooter #Scotland #Winter

@CloudyMrsHehe.Roads that kind are classified farm tracks in Germany. So you're rarely allowed to drive on with motorized vehicules. Nice for bicycles, though. And the ultimate Schlager on the matter (for unknown reasons sung in English)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vrEljMfXYo@bmacDonald94

@wauz @bmacDonald94 they're unclassified roads where I am. There are loads of them and you rarely meet a car. I'm very lucky to live where I do.

@CloudyMrsWell, yes. Germans tend to be over-perfectionists in regards of roads. Very often, the upgrade of a narrow road into a less narrow road lets the number of accidents rise very quickly. Even fatal ones. @bmacDonald94

@wauz @bmacDonald94 Oh no. That doesn't sound good. On the positive side, there is absolutely no possibility of any road upgrades happening anywhere near me. The unclassified roads are in better condition than half the main roads. 🤣

@CloudyMrsI'd prefer more railroad tracks. They don't eat up so much land as 'safe' roads do. And they last longer, even used in heavy duty. After all, that would be less effort. Or say: cheaper. But money is not the problem, physical ressources are.@bmacDonald94
