       damn, this poll makes me feel young af. guess that's why finding fandoms i'm into is hard (except for tech stuff) compared to twitter.        @redseraphim its hard to find what you like in here yes. Gen-Z as we now are very love simplicity. Simplicity on almost everything that need low efforts for doing simple task.Like if you want to connect with people, gen-z will choose the most low effort platform as soon as possible like as we know mainstream platform like instagram, X, Facebook, etc.Also, it needs to be crowded or many people into it so they can EASILY get known. Everything need to be simple, easy, and low efforts.These 3 points are the main reason why somethings will be used by Gen-Z and another youth generation.People like us is very rare in Gen-Z.For myself, I just love tech. Like almost everything, mostly on the internet like decentralized internet things like federated social, crypto&blockchain, private/privacy-focused programs & apps, and anything like that will attract me & makes me curious. That's why I'm in here now. It takes time to stay in here. But yeah, I'm still here & enjoy fedi :ab1nzyblob2:

       @bros@jir.moe well i don't know if hosting my own fedi instance counts as "simplicity" 😆. sure i might be (i am) an outlier in this gen, but imo they just don't understand how the whole decentralization thing works, not to mention the current state of centralized web as we know today. that's make it even harder for younger people to join, i mean i've tried introducing fediverse to some of my friends but they're confused as to "why is there so many servers", "why do i need to choose" or "why can't there be just one server".
