       Deep In The Grand CanyonWe start day 6 near the 140 mile marker with 100 miles or more to go. We are deep in the canyon. Bothe rims are roughly 3,000 feet overhead but I don't recall seeing the rim now for a couple of days deep in the canyon.The walls that surround us are narrow and tall giving us a limited view but the view we have is amazing.        @BGP You're doing that now? Is it freezing cold. We did that many moons ago, but it was summer. A 3 day trip and it was awesome, water was freexing then. The view from the bottom is a whold other kind of beautiful. Did you get helicoptored down to the water? That's how we got there. Brings back great memories.

       @rhfinearts Rebecca, these images were from an 8 day trip my wife and I took back in June. We started at Lee's Ferry and finished in Lake Mead. The water was very cold up by Lee's Ferry gradually warming as we made our way through the canyon.
