Morning At The BellsThat's right, a sunrise image over the Pacific Ocean in California. This image was captured near Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz California in early winter. The sun was low in the sky and rising south of this location. I was shooting south, southeast over the Bay The sky was clear of any coastal fog and just light clouds in the sky. Red Barn Near Moose Jaw JunctionI spent ten years in Northern Michigan in my teen years and I spent time in many of my friends barns. Bow Peak TrailThis is the Bow Peak trail in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. The trail starts out at the Peyto Lake parking lot and then continues on up to the base of Bow Peak. Mushroom ColonyWhile out hiking in Yosemite heading up to Mirror Lake I spotted this Mushroom Colony off to the side of the trail.I had to get down on my Belly so I could get low enough to capture this perspective. Aspen Autumn BurstUp in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado there are many stands of aspen trees growing. I've wanted to photograph these beautiful trees during the fall and recently had a small window to do so.I was out in Denver visiting family. We took a drive up into the mountains and hiked the St. Mary's Glacier. Vaca BarnI captured this Vacaville barn many years ago and found it as I did a review of some of my older work.I reworked the image as a fire was burning in the hills shown behind the barn. Rhine House at Beringer EstatesBeringer Winery is one of the first Wineries in California. It was founded in 1875 when brothers Jacob and Frederick purchased 215 acres of land in the Napa Valley. Saguaro CactusThe Saguaro Cactus captured in the desert north of Phoenix Arizona.Spent a few days in Phoenix visiting family. Olive OrchardThis image was captured in the springtime at the historic Filoli House and Garden in Woodside California. The 54,000 square foot mansion is rich in history, but one of the big attractions on the property is the gardens.The 265 acre property is split into 3 basic parcels, woodlands, orchards, and garden. Orange DoorRecently I was on a class trip out to Locke California on the Sacramento River Delta. The goal was to emulate a couple of old time photographers, William Quisenberry and Walker Evans.
