In An Unseelie Proposition, there is a discussion about what conditions would cause the Unseelie to declare war on the Seelie. By the end of the book, those conditions are fulfilled. My WIP takes place 1000 years after that war.

One of my stories was originally written on one side of the war between three countries, with two countries being smaller and one being overwhelmingly larger and more advanced. Then I needed to flesh out what the bigger country was like, and ended up writing entire stories about that country. Now the majority of what I've written takes place in the country that I developed last.

I decided to add more to who “The Watcher” when I kept changing the appearance of the “crazy man” who rants about the old Kronos Age but in various stages of personality. It’ll add more asto why he keeps changes with each revisit.

In Venture Imperium, the Black Zones were an addition that were made to support the next series. That said, their addition greatly benefited these books and ended up fixing many of the world building and plot issues I was running into.

Other than short stories with recurring characters I wrote decades ago, all my stuff has been one-offs. "Skin in the Game" is set in the same universe as an earlier story, "Hyperbole," but they're completely stand-alone, sharing only the time they're set, the existence of hyper-bullfighting, and three minor characters, one of which is only mentioned in "Skin in the Game" and doesn't actually appear. As I've mentioned in the past, I have trouble coming up with enough plot for one book, so I'll stick to one-offs, like Philip K. Dick (less the amphetamines and talent.)

That's an ELO album cover if I ever saw one.Anyway...I don't put sequel hooks in my works. The latter 3/4ths of "Happy Kitten" is full of references to the other books, because they were all intended to be 1 singular entity.Didn't go that way...

I decided to make Sabelu's (bastard) children actual characters rather than implications or meager references. It's going to make the series after The Chivalrous Welshman that much more interesting and coherent.
