Foreign language editions for the next book have arrived 😊 (PS. If you live in the UK and read in one of these languages to your children let me know and I'll send you a copy!)

@beach Hmm, how did the Galician translation end up that way?

@mansr You know your languages – I'm impressed!Do you mean the extra word –'Gran'? That's in the original English title – 'Big Bad Dragon Club'. Not sure why that was kept in the Galician but not in the others but ultimately it's the publisher's decision.

@beach Well, unless I'm mistaken, the Galician title would literally translate back as "The big club of the bad dragons", not quite the same as the English.

@mansr You may be right. But it's totally up to the translator how they choose to express the ideas in the book. The best translation is a creative process.

@beach Of course, and that's why translation is an art in itself. I just find it interesting to see what they come up with sometimes.BTW, it's nice to see someone paying attention to those often overlooked languages that lack national status.

@mansr Yes, I totally agree. The Spanish publisher is Picarona I love seeing the book in all four languages.
