@Sir_JBoy @Dan_Ramos I wouldn't be against a foreign legion, but the democrats have made it clear the US is an open checkbook with no identity to speak of. So there would be no integration and it would be yet another means of achieving whatever demographic goals the left is targeting.

@Dan_Ramos Not just that - he wants to convert illegals who can't vote into legals who can vote...absentee (because they are deployed) It's a racket - The military is just being used as an immigration front for human traffickers.the level of graft here is insane.My sensible solution is to cut the size of the military by the amount they cannot recruit.

@Dan_Ramos Historically fighting in a nations military to gain citizenship is very common. The US has had this tradition at lest since the Civil War. The latest was MAVNI which Trump killed.But since the government has alienated it prime recruitment stock that can actually be trained to fight and is unlikely to get them back any time soon, this may be the governments own option to ramp up all the conflicts they want.It is better than feeding and housing them for free.

Why has the government been letting so many people waltz over our border willy-nilly, not worrying about how they're going to support themselves? Because they want WWIII, and they don't want to draft US citizens in order to do it. They're going to make the migrants fight instead, with citizenship and money as the bait to get them to sign up. It won't work, though. These aren't the hard-working migrants of yesteryear. And the laws have softened up too much to make citizenship desirable, because there isn't much a citizen can do that a non-citizen can't do under today's laws. They won't get the numbers they're expecting from these measures.
