Upcoming releases of F-Droid will change how repositories are added. We are interested in feedback about this overhaul. Please tell us (if you already have the latest F-Droid or F-Droid Basic 1.19.0-alpha installed): * Does adding repos still work for you?* And did adding repos became easier or harder? If you don't have 1.19.0 yet: Note that this is still in beta, so brave users need to install this manually (enable Beta updates for the app or from Client expert settings).

@fdroidorg i have the 1.19 and i like the new repo ui. The only issue i have is that after you add a repo it brings up what appears to be the search screen with that repo selected. I wish it didnt do that

@shortwavesurfer2009 @fdroidorg I second that the search screen or what ever that was confused me a bit.

@fdroidorg works fine for me. It appears that the URL input field doesn't get its trailing white spaces trimmed which led to a fingerprint warning on my first attempt. Easy to fix obviously but also easy for the app to do on my behalf.By the way is there or will there be a uri scheme to add repos to fdroid?

@daniel @fdroidorg We've devised a new scheme, but I'm not sure if this is going to be final:https://fdroid.link/#repo=https://f-droid.org/repo&fingerprint=43238d512c1e5eb2d6569f4a3afbf5523418b82e0a3ed1552770abb9a9c9ccabWith this we'll hopefully get some sort of privacy friendly way of sharing urls that still works under the constraints of Android intent filtering. It's a separate domain so we can also look into setting up a policy for also adding 3rd party clients to asset-links.json.
