       @cottonnsheepp @ROYALTY @grumpy @sh0code_sh0con the word "boy" has a large history of demeaning usage, mostly due to ageism and perception of boyhood as inferior to manhood. Men who don't fit conventional standards of masculinity often get called boys. The queer community did not put any thought into it and just adopted the entire feminine man = boy logic in its entirety.
