@todayilearned The filing for ownership of a color or a logo is via the Tradmarks branch of the Copyrights Office. Print patterns, oddly enough, are patented.

@todayilearned They’re “owned” only as far as Trademark is concerned. I can use T-Mobile pink for my supermarket or branded pants without fear of lawsuit because neither of those are telecommunications.
