@CSB @mycal I am an AWS bro, but I know it’s a bad choice for censorship-sensitive stuff.In 2023 I’d go rumble or decentralized for that.

@Cosmic @CSB I use AWS lots also, its easy, geolocation for performance is simple, certificates, databases, private networking, its all there. Its not the low cost option but its easier than managing a lot of hard metal. Mostly use the hard metal providers for hosting more censorship critical stuff like mail severs, jabber servers, dns servers, VPN and the like. A $20 a month hard metal can run what would cost $300 or more at amazon, and includes a handful of ipv4 and lots of IPV6.
