       @slashdot yeah, about the Turing test, it's time to retire it. The TT is literally about whether a machine can fool a person into thinking it's intelligent & we know this isn't very difficult. What's difficult is - apparently - understanding that this has nothing to do with intelligence & that believing it does will cause untold problems. If you're hard up for a thought experiment relating to this topic, may I recommend the Chinese Box.
