We drive three hours round trip just to see these wintering Snow Geese. @EZLorenzImagery Yours is one of many posts that says "Preview not available, click to open"This seems like a new thing that is spreading fast. Did you turn on a setting like that? Or did your server? It means your post gets little attention. Not everyone will click to to open.

@EZLorenzImagery and I've changed nothing. I don't know if my server has, but this is suddenly pervasive. Of the first 9 posts in my home feed--not all of which are from MY server--it has this same message, per the screenshot attached. I don't know who to ask because I'm not sure where the problem is coming from. But it's a big change and not a welcome one.

@marksquires It is very frustrating, indeed. I’ve checked my settings, have no idea where it is coming from. Few days ago I couldn’t post, got an automated response that I exceeded my file limit, so I deleted some old posts. IDK if there’s a connection or not. I’ll delete more… Thanks!

@EZLorenzImagery As this has developed I don't think it is an individual problem. Something is going on at the server levels. Or, so I think. My server admin will look at this tomorrow and I copied Eugen on some posts too.

@EZLorenzImagery P.s. Hovering the mouse over the image box "preview not available" tends to show the image. So, that's something. I hope this doesn't mean it was a deliberate server choice with someone deciding all previews should disappear.
