       My sister tested positive Monday after 5 wks of a lower respiratory infection and sinus infection. I insisted she call her doctor to get Paxlovid (she’s 55) so she did. Her doctor actively counseled her against taking it but put in the prescription anyway. WTH, people! She was very scared due to her doctor’s comments about side effects. But last night she did it because she became much worse. Thank god she trusts her sister. Insanity. #CovidIsNotOver #Paxlovid #HippocraticOath

       She’s sick this morning, nauseous from metallic taste but thinks the antiviral is working
