This should be obvious to most people here, but you should be careful about what you do on your work issued PC. Many #Windows PC's are now cloud devices.My company has #OneDrive setup to backup the entire PC to OneDrive with no ability to change the setup. One of my employees quit, and his entire drive is made available to me. I needed a few files, but he had all kinds of personal stuff stored on his machine. I can access logs, bookmarks, and just about anything.

@Bernard my recommendation and workaround for this is to live into a virtual machine. Virtualbox allow you to encrypt the vm. Even you sync that vm with one drive, it’s encrypted. I don’t recommend that, but still a way to have your private box that you can do whatever you need. And Linux by the way

@acustico I appreciate solutions to problems. 🙏 When I need to travel and only have room in my bags for a work machine, I do use a Linux VM. Otherwise when I am working from home, I have a KVM switch to isolate my personal linux machine to personal and private stuff. If somebody's company has advanced bossware running on their work machine which can include screen grabs and even key loggers, a separate machine is more important.

@Bernard definitely. one mitigating factor is personal cell phones. Those can reasonably suffice in a majority of personal uses today. Of course, don't use the wifi or at minimum without a vpn haha
