Just shutdown https://feditrends.com because it was getting close to zero traffic. If you want essentially the same feed of stuff (just more of a firehose), here is a Google Sheet with the most recently trending domains and associated RSS feeds: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fNDz6yqcsSxwBJazuaQvc6dF2c6l8LWwct-6h_7BEV4/edit?usp=sharingThanks for everyone who encouraged my building of the site originally, I hope some people got some value out of it.

@ummjackson thanks for building it. It is a bit challenging to do something like that.

@Bernard It was fun to build and I rearchitected it a few months back to run locally on a Raspberry Pi with Cloudflare in front of it, which was a nice learning experience. Just didn't want to keep putting any energy or electricity into something nobody is using though. :)

@ummjackson Some fediverse implementations built something like that, but they are only as good as how well federated the instances are. A stand alone trender is helpful for small instances like mine if people know about them. Sometimes when I looked at the results, they showed me an image of the new majority population of the fediverse after Twitter quashed the censorship game. Some of us old timers are not trend followers. Thanks again. The learning was good.
