       @tofugolem They could have stayed and won, but also they could have stayed and been killed. This is the choice that Christian Nationalist force on anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their belief system, but several  years ago they outlawed teaching yoga. Religious freedom is sacrosanct, as long as it’s the one they are pushing.
