       @shoq @w7voa Just to be clear: the article isn't saying he'll lose $75 million in 1 year.It's saying he'll lose $75 million between now and the end of the year --- or, in other words, $75 million in a month.

       @ML2 @w7voa  Sadly, that doesn’t change much, because he can lose a billion a year for 10 years and still have to squint to notice it on  his balance sheet.  And even then, by his own admission, he doesn’t. His ego is way too invested to care about losing money anymore. Money won’t stop him. But irrelevance to the rest of us will kill him.

       @shoq @w7voa To be clear, it's also not him specifically losing the money, but Twitter, which now has a *much* lower value than he does. This is also on top of the already massively reduced ad revenue Twitter has had overall.Musk might walk away from this (though I am not sure he will walk away from the increasing crises happening with Tesla, as his net worth is tied up almost entirely in highly overvalued Tesla stocks). But the only way I see Twitter surviving this is him selling it, and between his ego and his ketamine addiction I don't see that happening.

       @ML2 @w7voa Nope. And if was smart, he’d take my idea and run with it. Donate the whole mess to Wikimedia Foundation and write-down what he can. His investors have no choice but to do the same.
