       @comrade_lecter @sh0code_sh0con @ROYALTY I speculate that the people who are upset about Pluto getting its planet status removed either struggle with the change, have sequencial Synesthesia, or heavily empathize with or personify inanimate objects. It's not really about being a planet being a superior thing, but it's about it having been in the past and it suddenly having been ripped away. That either makes people feel bad for Pluto itself, or it forms a descrepancy or confusion with a previously established meaningful association.
