So apparently k8s-decided to remove the free tier and require an subscription costing hundreds of dollars every year.I fucking hate that kind shit, let me use the old version that works.I hate electron apps

@wraptile Well it can assist you in giving you a quick overview on pods, deployments, ingresses and so on.K8s-Lens was really good, but I am now trying out "Monokle Desktop" - it seems quite good too.The reason I want a GUI client, is because I sometime find it tedious to "browse" throu clusters with kubectl, sometimes the "click click click" way I what I like x)

@seleaI have used k9s at work and it's a nice TUI browser, it helped me understand how our clusters work.@wraptile

k9s is the perfect for me in combining the power of the terminal with a gui-like experience.

@selea Qt applications for the win! Electron apps are so clunky. I'm typing this within Tokodon and it's such a soom experiance.

@selea Electron apps have a "darker" side.. While creating a single point to improve upon functionality and security... they create a single point of failure for functionality and supply chain issues for security. I am not a dev so I cannot say about the convenience but the security thing creeps me out.. Imagine all the messenger apps, password managers, crypto apps etc...
