@itnewsbot: I have yet to understand why so many people want to bring back infectious diseases that we had mostly eradicated. The anti-vax craze puts everyone at risk as it gives the disease organisms more hosts through which to mutate and evade protections.

@itnewsbot If you're in the UK and you haven't had two doses of the #MMR #vaccine, you can get them at any age, and the #NHS asks you to do so. I was born decades too early to have had them as a child. My first dose is booked this coming Friday morning, and my second just before Christmas. 🙂 https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/mmr-vaccine/"Anyone who has not had 2 doses of the MMR vaccine should ask their GP surgery for a vaccination appointment."
