       I just had a nice revelation: I am the guy that 8-year-old me wanted to be.I wanted to be able to make fantastical worlds that were fun to learn about and explore. I tried to write many a story that got what I had in my head into the heads of others, but it never seemed to click.Now, I do #TTRPG and Video #GameDev as two of my primary hobbies, and I'm doing _exactly_ that, to great results (in my opinion).I'm basically a wizard and 8-year-old me is exulting in it.

       Unrelated to the 8-year-old, I'm also the guy 16-year-old me hoped I would be: I didn't become a bitter old dick by the age of 30.40? We'll see. I guess if I keep thinking about "Would younger me have liked me?", I should be okay.
