       Listening to CBC The Current. Mayor of Langley saying they are building out “100s of acres of new urban land” (aka sprawl) so they don’t want to see multi-family homes in single family neighbourhoods.The argument is that they can’t retrofit infrastructure for SFH neighbourhoods. This is in response to new #bcpoli legislation around.

       I don’t think it’s time for half measures. Zoning is just one part.You need financing, you need architecture / engineering / construction, you need materials. I am actually worried that we don’t have enough systems or templates in place for this to make an impact.Most people don’t know this, but rentals are a BIGGER issue outside of urban areas in the province of BC: only SFH, and not affordable to rent an entire house!#bcpoli #housing
