       If you are not quoting YAML strings, you haven't used YAML enough and you have no idea about all that can go wrong.Do quote YAML strings!

       @galdor Syntax highlighting usually tells you the type, and you only need to pay attention around numbers or some bool values (yes/no).Yaml is fine.

       @jgillich @galdor especially the newer version where a lot of the bizarre gotchas were cut out. Not that many parsers support it lolBut besides that I often use YAML and recently had to quote “no” in the list of nordic countries. Funny stupid gotcha but easy to remember, beats quoting everything including identifiers in JSON.

       @Amikke @jgillich Yes this is a huge PITA because you usually do not know what the parser uses: 1.1, 1.2, 1.2 without the annoying parts, 1.2 with extra magic because the developer tried to be smart (and failed)…
