       The "everybody can now build a GPT, we're all development gods now" hype spawning from OpenAIs last PR thing is mindnumbing. Like one would love to punish these people by forcing them to only consume and use generated systems and media but I wonder if their appreciation of craft, quality and substance has atrophied so much that they wouldn't even notice.

       @tante last night someone answered a tech question with ChatGPT output. To their credit they marked it as such (I still don't condone this behavior, but not marking would be even worse).Since I had a bit of time on my hands I thought I'd roughly measure how long it took to fact check those three paragraphs.It took ages! And was absolutely excruciating work! 1/2
