The coolest thing about being a US citizen (supposedly) is that we *don't* unconditionally support *any* government. Not even our own.🤷🏿♂️That's... kind of the whole point of the first and second amendments. As US citizens, we happily tolerate an enormous amount of harm caused by those two amendments, supposedly so that we can freely criticize our own government, and we can "defend ourselves from tyranny."🤡We aren't required to swear fealty to any administration, especially not a far-right one.

Part of the reason the drone comedy sketch works, is that we know that the full might of US military drones are unlikely to ever be used against US citizens. Not even our most violent, unhinged, guns rights advocates.We all know who US military drones are really used against.Which is why it is so important that we *not* give our support *unconditionally*.The US military doesn't even support the US military unconditionally! They question themselves. Constantly.And... soldiers get to vote.

@mekkaokereke LOL you so funny... of course The US will use them against their citizens whole sale... they just haven't... YET. If they do it overseas, they will do it at home. It won't matter where you are on The Hierarchy TM (white, male etc) you will be affected. They've even set up The Patriot Act in advance.Of course "Americans" (read white people who normally are served by the US instead of harmed by it) won't believe it... until it happens. 👀 🤔

Walz called out the National Guard during the George Floyd protests and martial law was declared in Minneapolis neighborhoods. This isn't the first time this has happened in the US. Not even close. In MN patrols were driving through BIPOC neighborhoods taking pot shots, allegedly with rubber bullets, at people on porches. @veirling @mekkaokereke I probably should have added it won't matter the color of your state but this works. It is awful and unsurprising... I mean Tulsa happened. But yeah... I hate (maddened?) how comfy everyone has gotten in the post 9/11 world with the all of this...

@Aviva_Gary @mekkaokereke Yes, I added blue state just for perspective as in can/will happen anywhere.What I didn't get in to is police state violence against communities. People don't like to hear it but the US is an authoritarian police State whether the military is participating directly or not.
