I've stopped using the term "mainstream media". The old establishment media still exists, but I'm no longer convinced it's "mainstream". That term hardly applies when the majority of people now get their news from tiktok, twitter, and instagram.The term I now use is "corporate media"

@perfect_brains I like this term. It's more precise. The only problem I have is that it doesn't convey my level of disdain quite as well as "corporate"
