@freemo I used antibiotics once, and it caused no pain, but i had to work as a bathroom watchman for a while 😀 Hope you are feeling better soon!

@lonelyowl yea most of the time it wont hurt you.. i am having drug induced lupus (which i am now realizing i probably always had lupus at a low level)

@freemo@qoto.org Yeah, don't know the English word for it. The period that you have to do the antibiotics from start to finish. No breaking off halfway, because that's how we create resistant bacteria.

@trinsec No the antibiotics worked against what they were supposed to treat. Its a common sideeffect of certain antibiotics called drug induced lupus. It is an autoimmune disease.

@freepeoplesfreepress The pain is fairly bad, but it seems to be improving slightly. My urgent care doctor didnt seem too concerned. They seemed to think quiting the antibiotic should do the trick within a few days.@trinsec

@freemo @trinsec Dear Dr. Freemo: Hopefully discontinuing the antibiotic does the trick, probably just a minor allergic reaction to the antibiotic, not life threatening anaphylactic shock, if it is truly temporary autoimmune problem caused by the antibiotic then should be okay. @freemo @trinsec Dear Dr. Freemo: Without proper lab work there is no way to know, they should immediately do a complete blood panel work up to determine what is going on, everything else is just a guessing game. If you should markedly improve, that will point to some disturbance related to the use of the antibiotic that triggered bad reaction. @freepeoplesfreepress Actually bloodwork is only needed to narrow down the type of lupus. To diagnose lupus the 11 criteria (of which you need 4) only has 2 items that require blood work. Sinc eI quality for 4 of them blood work isnt needed to determine it is a type of lupus.@trinsec
