@glennf @maria No, it doesn't really weight on me -- I made peace years ago (possibly *decades* ago, come to think of it) that I'll never respond to every email; that my particular forms of mental organization do not require filing/sorting of emails; and that having 'em all there to search is usefulIt fails me, often, but nearly everything I do fails me often lol

@glennf @maria I did actually consider, years ago, spinning up a little online email service called InboxTenIt's an email service where your inbox has room for only ten messagesIf you've got ten messages in there, any incoming email gets a bounceback message saying "sorry, [user name]'s inbox is full, try again later"more of an art project than an actual service 😅

@clive @maria Interesting! Every mind is different but email defeats every mind, is my motto. (It’s particularly bad for folks with ADHD; my wife is an ADHD coach!) For me, I used to file *obsessively* but had a big inbox. Once I got an email program with decent search, I drop most messages into a handful of folders and lean on search to keep the inbox clean.

@clive I love it. Who came up with the three-line reply? Which was mostly, most emails can be replied to with, thanks for writing, I am sorry but I know I won't be able to give you a reply in a reasonable period of time, thanks again?
