Today I'm having a deeper look at a survey tool called #KoboToolbox, "Our software is free and open source and works both online and offline. Most of our users are people working in humanitarian crises, aid professionals and researchers working in developing regions. Our team of developers, designers, support staff and researchers work tirelessly from countries around the world to keep the tool accessible to everyone."https://support.kobotoolbox.org/welcome.html#research #surveys

@strypey Did you manage to deploy it? I've found it super hard to align all the components with their unconventional startup script a few years ago when investigating answers for https://next.allmende.io/posts/9/a-participatory-forms-environment

@yala> Did you manage to deploy it?That's beyond my skills at present, although I intend to upskill. I have co-op partners to deploy things. For now I'm just trying to figure out what Kobo is like from the POV of people using it, both survey creators and survey participants.

@yalaThanks for the forum link, this is really helpful. LiberaForms looks good. They released a 3.0 version earlier this month; https://blog.liberaforms.org/2023/10/03/version-300/

@yala> it seems rather powerfulThe offline support suggests a package that's beyond the average survey tool.
