@Death_Dealer @Jonaschuzzlewit @UnityOstara i disagree, particularly in instances where it's very clear that the band wants you to be able to hear and understand the lyrics. i would never expect or even desire a metal band that has 'wholesome' lyrics per se, but i'm not going to sit and listen to a grown man screaming "fuck god, fuck christ, i love sodomy, it's all lies," etc. even if i wasn't christian that would turn me off because it's just low effort gay edgelord shit.
