I love qoto, but I also find it very important to move on to full-text search. Thus my question: @freemo , could you summarise somewhere an estimate (a bullet list?) of what would it take to merge back from mastodon 4? Is this something that you're willing to do if you get help with development?

@mapto Well for starters we already have full text search, weve had it for years.. My guess is you mean they are doing something new in that regard youd want us to integrate?Merging back from 4 itself doesnt make sense.. but i can of course pull in any features we may be lacking on a case by case basis.@ChrisWilms23 @helenczerski @davidho @gabipurcaru

Problem resolved as much as I'm concerned.As for the issue with Followgraph, this is rather something that I might look into when I find myself with time. If it's only about authentication, not an issue to be implemented. The issue is rather how to run it locally at the user's computer, so that the privacy requirement keeps being satisfied.
