People in most industries get promoted in management not for their williingness to work but for their willingness to ruthlessly bully and gaslight regular employees into believing they are so worthless that they deserve to get paid less than a donkey on a treadmill for half-killing themselves every day.        @Sigma The people you are talking about are not rich. They are middle managers.Most employees are not that great. Therefore you get the abuse layer.A better solution is to lower costs and increase order so that people are not slaves to their jobs.
