       There's an idea that crime rates dropped after the phasing out of leaded gas due to improved cognition when kids were no longer being brain-damaged by lead. If this is correct, then we should expect a sharp rise in crime 10-15 years from now as children brain-damaged by covid enter their peak-crime years.
