@dick_turpin I might consider using a Revolut disposable virtual card, but there's nothing on Xitter that interests me any more so I think I'll just not bother.

@OldGitPhil Yeah, I suspect he will keep Freebie accounts. He'll need them to encourage people to upgrade. The only problem is they'll be subject to all the dross and nasties currently swilling around on the platform.This news does not surprise me in the slightest.

@dick_turpin As I understand it, if you already have an account you won't need to pay, but if you sign up in the future your account will not be able to post unless you pay the $1 a year.
