       It no more makes sense to bomb civilian targets in Gaza in response to the October 8th terrorist attacks than it would have been to bomb Mesquite Nevada because that's where Stephen Paddock, who murdered 61 people and injured hundreds more in his attack in Las Vegas in 2017 lived. "You live in the same city as these people who committed mass murder" isn't a justification to be murdered.Additional edit:"You live in an apartment complex/go to a school/use the hospital/worship in a mosque that terrorists have set up a base in/underneath" isn't a death sentence. Just because terrorists use civilians as human shields/hostages doesn't mean it's permissible to murder civilians.

       @JessTheUnstill The bombing is not of civilians. It is targeted bombing of only Hamas military installations, which Hamas has placed in apartment buildings, hospitals, and school buildings, in contravention of the rules of war. Hamas has been committing war crimes against their own people this whole time.

       @baruch What's your point? Would it have been justified to bomb the Mandalay Bay casino the Vegas shooter was attacking from? Do people lose their right to live just because a criminal lives in the apartment above them?
