       @CapitalB Not true. Norway has 3: Bokmål, Nynorsk and Sámegeila. The first 2 are different “versions” of Norwegian so one can argue it’s just one language. But Samis have their own language that is official.

       @CapitalB If you mean in all kingdom, yes. All relevant official documents have to be available in all three lang. forms. When we came a and registered, we had to pick preferred form to receive communication in. And all three are equal. Not that a noname clerk in Oslo would be fluent in Sapmi but legally they would have to accommodate and get an interpreter. In the north it’s more common ppl understand.

       @morinka if so the map is wrong. I thought Sami has only local privilege, not national. Some minority languages have only local+capital e.g.
