@CapitalB Not true. Norway has 3: Bokmål, Nynorsk and Sámegeila. The first 2 are different “versions” of Norwegian so one can argue it’s just one language. But Samis have their own language that is official.

@CapitalB If you mean in all kingdom, yes. All relevant official documents have to be available in all three lang. forms. When we came a and registered, we had to pick preferred form to receive communication in. And all three are equal. Not that a noname clerk in Oslo would be fluent in Sapmi but legally they would have to accommodate and get an interpreter. In the north it’s more common ppl understand.

🌱Despite the first frosts, there are still some warriors in the garden. Sunflower with burned foliage, but still ready with seeds for birds.Brussel sprouts and leeks happily continue like nothing’s going on. Same for the white daisy and quite surprisingly, there are still some flower buds on the marigold behind it.Otherwise the garden looks sad, brown and sloppy. Just the occasional sun glow make it bearable.

@Viking Not a small one 😊But almost all of our beds are done from thick tree trunks cut lengthwise. Some of my flower beds are done in stones. We couldn’t afford to buy timber for garden here, even before the plandemic the prices were insane, now it’s about 40% more. But trees are plentiful, just to choose one reasonably straight and thick to have enough height of the bed.The veg one was also done just rough with chainsaw.The two Dahlia beds are in steep slope and the large one is over 4m

@eriner Unsolicited homemade remedies from former “bronchitis every other week” sufferer - onion juice with honey. Or sempervivum tectorum (common houseleek?) - press out juice from leaves and mix with honey (or dilute it with some water if you can’t stand it pure). Both er considered expectorants and soothing.

@eriner Could it be temperature? Spinach is cool season crop, our look similar if we forget to take it to lower temps after germination.Or burned by light?Or, paradoxically, they’re dry. I see your soil is quite wet (maybe bc of common tray with salad) and it can happen that roots rot and the seedling then dries even if watered.

@ThatLARRYSHOW When looking for job, I purposefully avoid such businesses. I don’t need to be a part of such “culture”. I successfully avoided having my picture on the internet for so long and do not plan to change that. I do the job, take the money, have life outside of work.

@Viking I’m oscillating between envy and hate for you 😬It’s been so EFFING cold here 🤬 As if someone flipped a switch mid october and it’s grey, cold and miserable. Weird with the zucchini plants - ours did the same, pumpkins too - they looked like no winter coming this year, even produced flower right until the frost! @DaddyO

You bastards!”I made a balaclava for my lumberjack man and although it doesn’t look when flat, the Kenny vibes when worn are strong 😆I wanted to make it from strong and washable yarn, purposefully orange to go with his Husqvarna tools and clothes. Not until he tried it for length had the obvious reference dawn on me 🤦🏻♀️He’s satisfied and very happy to have something under the helmet in cold weather that covers neck too.
