I'm kind of disappointed in this year's #flu shot. I felt no pain at all. WEAK SAUCE.

@CppGuy @GeekFurious The ‘vid shot’s always made me a little sore, but no telling.

@CppGuy @tek I had a longterm viral response in 2020 to what was most likely COVID (I got sick so early they didn't even have tests for it yet). I was also exposed to COVID Christmas of last year & ended up with burning mouth syndrome for the next 9 months (only recently started to get better). So, "long COVID" or whatever we should call it, is very real & it's too bad so many people think they shouldn't get vaccinated to prevent it & worse.

@GeekFurious @CppGuy That sounds horrid.Mrs Tek and I both got COVID after Def Con, but our cases were super mild. Like, we felt feverish for a day, then tired for 2-3 days, then that was it. That’s suppose to be an effect of the vax: if you get a breakthrough infection, it’s much more likely to be mild. So, fully vaxxed, still got it. The difference between what you had and what I had was well worth getting a couple shots, and I’ll continue to get them.

@tek @CppGuy Both times I was exposed, I didn't get sick. But weeks after everyone else who got sick got over it, that's when I started feeling the "long COVID" effects.
