I just learned about the OpenCore legacy patcher, via @m2mIf I understand correctly you can run macOS Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura on Mac computers as old as 2007. (My MacBook Pro is 8 years old)> OpenCore is a sophisticated boot loader used to inject and patch data in memory, instead of on disk. This means that we're able to achieve a near-native experience on many unsupported Macs.https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher

@koalie @m2m I’ve been using it for years on a 2010 MacPro tower. I had to upgrade the graphics card, but other than that, no major issues. Currently running Ventura. I also maxed out the RAM and switched to a NVMe drive, overall performance is fine.
