Wait I finally found the original definition of Xenosatanism!!!Only took... forever.I thought it seemed odd the way antis were describing it. I was lowkey thinking I'm trans xenosatanist but I'm totally a xenosatanist.Antis explained it as "Okay with all abuse + sexual abuse" and that's clearly not what it says lolhttps://archive.ph/nOZ1d#section01

@hebebur "Public sex, nudity, and pornography legalized and socially encouraged" - pushing people into sex acts."Destigmatization and desacralization to some extent of rape, molestation, sexual abuse (bcs of a priori and retrospective harm induced by internalized social norms. Tho, we don’t want harmful rape to be fully legal)depending on the case, non-consensual but harmless sexual interaction should be legal, and not stigmatized" - defense of violating consent. This is pro sexual abuse.

@comrade_lecter I usually concede that I have reading comprehension issues but respectfully, I'm unsure if that's a very fair interpretation? It's not pushing people onto sex acts, just encouraging people to do what they want without it being taboo. And it says harmless sexual interaction, not traumatizing. There's plenty of people who have "traumatic" things that happen, except it's outside people who say it must have been traumatic. "Induced by internalized social norms".

@comrade_lecter personally I interpreted it as "Society says this specific thing is traumatizing at all times, so it pushes ppl to be traumatized and gaslights 'victims' into becoming victims"Like how society has Induced incest trauma by retroactively making it a bad thing. The actual incest hasn't caused trauma, its people gaslighting you into feeling violated by it.Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I interpreted it.

@hebebur I believe that there's no way to "encourage" a sex act to happen on a societal level that doesn't come with a violation of what people genuinely want for themselves. Also permitting obviously nonconsensual acts for as long as they're "harmless" is a step back in victim support. Telling people that they weren't actually harmed by what happened is the status quo in the current society.

@parapunk @comrade_lecter I think it's saying that sex isn't some big spectacular thing and is on the same level as everything else. That masturbating is on the same level as hand rubbing and cheek kissing. If no harm is caused then what's the difference other than society has created this sacredness for sex that makes it on some weird other level than everything else.To be fair, its 3am and I'm trying to understand the text so I could be wrong, but

@hebebur @parapunk both are incorrect points of view, both treating sex like different from everything else and equating it to particular acts. Masturbating is not the same as cheek kissing, because, unless you have an atypical configuration of nervous endings, masturbation creates a more profound physical sensation that intrudes in your mental state much more.

@comrade_lecter I believe they mean the inherent "it was nonconsensual because you can't consent" is what's being talked about, but I can see how it can be misconstrued to seem like it's saying as long as there's no pain then you aren't a victim (which isn't what I think I read but again I have reading comprehension issues and could simply be reading it much differently). To be fair, that is also a very short explanation with a lot of further explaining their point being lost to termination.

@comrade_lecter I also disagree that encouraging = violation. There's already a fight for people with breasts to be able to be shirtless, it isn't forcing people with breasts to not wear shirts, but encouraging the people who want to not have to wear shirts to be shirtless if they so choose.Fundamentally I think laws around public nudity and sex are kind of bullshit, which is what it seems to be saying. Encourage people to be open instead of hiding for society's sake.

@comrade_lecter @parapunk I can agree to disagree, as it isn't something completely different from everything else.I'm not saying it should be done, just that it's very sociogenic. It isn't inherently different, but people have made it different. It's different in the way that touching a foot and a hand are different, but I don't think it's somehow on a different spectrum. But I can see why someone would, and think you're valid in feeling that way :)
