       @commandlinekid I would like to see the research with this. I am a big fan of fasting, but I haven't experienced the immune boost from it that I so often hear claimed. I fast 2-3 days per week, and then have some scheduled 5 day fasts. I find when I get sick I need to take in calories to feel better, not fast harder. Just my experience.

       @thormchammer I don't know, I just thought it interesting. I fast one day (24 hours) per week. I also, since I fasted for one 48-hour period for some reason have decided to fast until noon each day which has also helped. Not sure about direct relation to immunity but it has to have helped I think

       @commandlinekid I do roughly 30hr fasts. I stop eating when I got to bed and then I don't eat until breakfast of the day after 24hrs. What that post was talking about with autophagy, is where the immunity is supposed to really start to increase. It is increasing cellular regeneration by kicking in your body's "self consumption"-autophagy. That purges all the cells that either dead, weak, or worthless. It is supposed to really decrease the chance of cancer too.

       @commandlinekid Super good post though. It is nice to see what levels boost/peak at what time. Its nice to know that a 5 day fast isnt just worthless after 3 days.
